Floor, ceiling, electrical

Floor load
50 lb/sqft static minimum. Concrete on-grade preferred. Wood-framed acceptable with verified joist spec.
Floor finish
Sealed concrete, rubber tile (¼" or thicker) or sport vinyl. ARX provides anti-slip mat under each unit.
Ceiling
84" minimum clear at unit centerline. 90" or more preferred for tall users.
HVAC
Conditioned space, 65–75°F, RH 30–60%. No special exhaust required.
Electrical
Dedicated circuit recommended. Standard 120V / 20A NEMA 5-20 outlet within 6 feet of unit.
Network
Wi-Fi for session sync. Wired Ethernet drop optional.
Access
36" door clear minimum. Crating arrives palletized; site must accept pallet jack.

From PO to first session

  1. WEEK 0

    Purchase order and site survey

    ARX project manager assigned within 24 hours.

  2. WEEKS 1–6

    Manufacture

    Built to order in Austin, TX. Status visible to specifier.

  3. WEEK 7

    Pre-install confirmation

    Floor plan, electrical photo, ceiling clearance review.

  4. WEEK 8

    White-glove install

    1-day on-site by ARX team. Includes calibration, network setup, operator orientation.

  5. WEEK 8 + 1

    First session

    Operator-ready. ARX clinical partnerships available for staff training (Kyle Chance).

Layout reference

Two-machine room, 14 by 12 feet

Standard pairing: one ARX Omni for full upper and lower workflows, one ARX Alpha for split-stance and unilateral movements. Total room footprint roughly 168 sqft including circulation. Single-machine rooms accept either unit at 100 sqft minimum.
